Starting with loose wool and a barbed needle, you poke at the fibers until they lock together and take on a life of their own. No glue, no stitches— just transforming a soft pile of wool into something real with your own two hands.

Painted on a 6" x 6" wood panel for a charity auction, this little robin gave me an excuse to go completely hogwild. Acrylics let me push color, texture and depth all at once, and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing your piece get snapped up first out of hundreds of entries.

Carved backwards and printed by hand, relief printing doesn't leave much room for second guesses. Every single mark comes down to one binary choice (cut it away or leave it) and once it's gone, it's gone for good.
